You can also reg- ister on the website. Proceeds from the race go to organiza- tions like Camp Mayhew, the Circle Program, and the Tap- ply-Thomson Community Cen- ter. NH Marathon’s mission is to promote a world-class running event and to support child-cen- tered organizations in the area.
The atmosphere on race day has always been upbeat. With all of the runners, volunteers, and spectators participating in this monumental day, there is no shortage of that energetic buzz we all love to experience on a crisp fall day. The NH Marathon garners a lot of attention from out-of-state runners, making this community-oriented race a pretty big deal! It’s a day where people from inside and outside of the community can come to-

gether and support local causes that give back to the bright, young children who could very well be running this race one day. The NH Marathon run- ners achieve a big goal on that day, and having the community around them cheering them on
is what makes it so much better. Of course, don’t forget about the pasta dinner the night be- fore! From 5:00 to 7:30, the ma- sons put on a spectacular dinner with crockpots full of a variety of homemade sauces and deli- cious desserts for runners. So be
sure when you register to sign up for the pasta dinner as well. It costs only $15, and walk-ins are welcome for $20 per person. Proceeds from this also go to support local organizations. The pasta dinner is held at Union Lodge, 61 Pleasant St., Bristol, NH 03222.
The NH Marathon is an all- day event beginning at 9 AM. It brings together runners, vol- unteers, and spectators to cele- brate fitness, community, and support. Participants challenge themselves on the course, while friends, family, and local resi- dents line the streets to cheer them on. The NH Marathon creates a positive, welcom- ing atmosphere where every- one—from competitive athletes to casual joggers—can enjoy the experience. It’s a day that strengthens community ties and makes people proud of their accomplishments and contribu- tions. Let’s do this, Newfound!
