Friends of the Hebron Library Achieve Fundraising
HEBRON – The Friends of the Hebron Library are excited to announce the official end on August 30th of their Library Historic Rehabilitation Capital Campaign, having reached their goal of $255,000. “We wish to express our gratitude for the com- munity’s support for this amazing project,” said Donna Luti, Co- chair of the Friends Campaign. “This reflects our community’s dedication to historic preserva- tion and the love and support we have for our small but mighty li- brary.”
With the Friends' private do- nation and the $100,000 Land and Community Heritage In- vestment Program (LCHIP)
grant, over three-quarters of the restoration costs will be paid for without Town funds. This is unprecedented for a small, rural New Hampshire town. “We also thank our voters from the bottom of our hearts,” said co-chair Gail Howell, “for your unanimous vote at May’s Town Meeting to publicly fund the remaining con- struction costs.”
Construction is well un- derway, and the restored and united Grange Hall and Me- morial Chapel will serve as an expanded Town Library and a new ADA-accessible Community Hub on Hebron’s bucolic Com- mon. And it keeps re-purposed historic town buildings surround-

The rehabilitation project will uncover and restore historic fin-
