COLLEGE LIFE
Year 7 Camp
Helen Perez, a regular on the camp, asked
some year 7s to write about their favourite
activities:
The giant swing. I was lucky enough to get
the 21-metre swing and went all the way
to the top. As I pulled the rope I went flying
down and felt a nice cool breeze against my
face. It was an amazing experience.
Abbey Cook
Getting closer to my classmates, making new
friends from other classes and trying all the
activities. Luckily I got chosen to go on the
21-metre giant swing and made it
all the way to the top.
Layne Lewis
Going canoeing and deliberately falling in
the water then having a water fight with
Mrs Perez. It was really fun. I got to make
new friends and got to know my
Frayne classmates better.
Callum Sankey
Spending quality time with friends and
making new ones. It also helped by going
to the disco and finding people that were
interested in dancing, just like me.
Chloe Locke
The giant swing. It was an exhilarating
experience because it only lasted a couple of
seconds. Year 7 camp was one of the
best experiences ever.
Patrick O’Dwyer
Free time. I liked hanging around with
friends and choosing an activity.
My favourite thing to do in the free time
was shooting hoops, but gaga ball
was also great fun.
Alex McPherson
The giant swing. I got up fairly high,
but I liked all of it.
Gabrielle Zoch
When we had free time because we could
play basketball with everyone and kick the
football. We also had time to relax.
Georgia Holdsworth
The ropes course. It was great being able to
go on a different obstacle every step I took.
It will be an unforgettable memory.
