PURPOSE
To underline content of training
DESCRIPTION
Team members answer questions as it is their turn in the circle.
PARTICIPANTS Groups should be small. 8 is ideal - 15 maximum.
TIME
Plan for approximately 90 seconds per individual sharing and passing
SUPPLIES
Notecards with one question written on each, music CD or tape and something to play it on (optional)
Steps:
• Write questions on note cards, one question on each. Make as many cards as there are people in the group. Questions should be developed around the content of the training. Might include things like: Name a quality of a good team and why it is “imperfect” or “Today I learned...” or “In order to be a part of change, I need to...”
• Sit in a circle. Each person receives a card and the cards are all passed to the right
while the music plays. When it stops, pick one person at random to answer the question on his or her card. That person turns his/her card over, reads the question aloud and answers as deeply as his/her comfort level allows.
• Once that person has finished answering, he or she turns the card back over, the music starts again as well as the card passing. Once again, the music stops and the person to the left of the first person to answer takes his or her turn answering. Continue in the same rotation until all have answered a question.
• Open the circle afterwards for the circle to discuss as desired.
