The Languages and Multicultural Education Resource Centre (LMERC) is a Department of Education and Training library specialising in:
• Languages
• English as an Additional Language
• Cross-curriculum priority areas and the intercultural capability
The library holds an extensive collection of more than 30,000 diverse resources in all formats for educators across all sectors and at all levels, from early childhood to adult.
Resources include: games, puppets, big books, flashcards, ideas for activities, culturally diverse picture books and novels, and Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) lesson plans.
Items can be borrowed for 12 weeks.
Membership is free to teachers across all school sectors, pre- service teachers and lecturers (EAL and languages), homework clubs and community language schools.

We are preferred supplier of contracts to Defence and have been on their panel since 2010 with contracts across various language groups.
Fortis are seeking to add to its qualified teachers and looking for teachers with 5 years adult teaching experience, Cert IV in Training & Assessment & Teaching qualifications. These contracts range from short term 2-week positions through to one-year contracts including occasional ad-hoc marking or development contracts which may be completed remotely from home across all languages.
