MLTAV LanguagesConnect Volume 10, Number 1, February 2020
Global Online Survey
Dr Jun JIN, on behalf of the FWF-Project team, Fachdidaktik Anglistik, University of Graz, Austria, contacted the MLTAV asking to share the following information with members.
The request was to pass this on to any language teachers working at secondary level or any pre-service language teachers who will work at secondary level.
The University of Graz Austria are working on a research project investigating the wellbeing of secondary school language teachers at different stages of their professional careers from pre-service through to retirement. The researchers believe that teacher wellbeing is hugely important not only for the welfare of teachers but also for their capacity to teach to the best of their abilities. They also believe that not nearly enough attention is paid by researchers or authorities to this vitally important topic. We hope to change that and they are asking for assistance to try to make a difference.
The survey will take approx. 15 minutes to complete:

The researchers have stated that participation would be completely anonymous.
They are also looking for volunteers to take part in a 45-minute interview (via Skype) at a time that would suit you. They will be offered the chance at the end of the survey to volunteer for this but there is no obligation and the survey can be completed without this option.
