Past Position
The foundation for your current situation can be traced
back to a time when external factors forced progress to
slow down or stop. For example, without action on your
part, a job or housing situation was put on hold or fell
through. There was nothing you could do except accept
and adjust your plans.

Present Position
Resist the urge to push ahead or force action if progress is
moving slower than expected. The Hanged Man appears in
this position to remind you that expectations can get in the
way of seeing your situation objectively. Surrender any
notion that you are in control of the situation and allow
time to meditate.

Advice Position

Sometimes the best action is no action, especially if you are
confronted by someone who is trying to drag you down
with them. Now is not the time to engage in arguments or
petty disagreements as they will do little to further your
cause.
