Idea of Improvement (I-Card) - Sending responses to the IMSS (National Health System/Mexico).

One of the response processes to the IMSS that was carried out, was very repetitive and was done manually, which in addition to time consuming did not add value to the collaborator, impacting one of the 8 wastes.
BENEFITS
• 97% reduction in time invested in the operation.
• Innovation with the use of technological tools.
CULTURAL IMPACT
Change and Innovation: The case of success is shared throughout the center with the purpose of calling for participation in the “ideas for improvement” (I-Cards) program and so that it continues to be successful with replicas or new implementations.

The logistics area performed routines of waste re- sults, the focus of these sessions was modified to review only the critical sites that impact the waste indicator, reviewing the causes and action plans.
BENEFITS
It contributed to the reduction of product waste from 0.34% to 0.29% vs 2018 with an economic im- pact of # 33.1 MM.

• Transparency: The results are re- viewed and the causes of the de- viations between the operations participating in the meetings are known.
• Results Orientation: The indica- tor control was achieved.

• Management through monitor- ing routines, to detect on time the deviations of results.
• Action plans, for the identification of root causes and timely monitor- ing of the detected deviations.
