Daily workload balance was improved by restructuring routes and check out process, using prioritization criteria.
BENEFITS
• The workday was reduced from 15 hours to 12 hours (approximately 20%).
• The work and personal balance is improved. (Focus on the collabora- tor).
CULTURAL IMPACT
• Change and innovation: Flexibility and adaptability of the team to generate the changes. The way of prioritizing the exit of trucks, volume by truck, type of routes, etc. was changed.
• Focus on employees: Personal and work balance (improved quality of life of collaborators).
• Results orientation: Multidisciplinary effort of all distribution centers to reach the objective and constant implementation of improvements with the corresponding follow-up.
