CRISOD has worked on several initiatives that helped improve performance efficiency and resulted in cost saving/avoidance. Below table provides quick summary on several cost saving/avoidance initiatives carried out by the department:

Description
CRISOD managed to cancel Khurais Residential Industrial Complex (RIC) Gate with no impact on operations.
CRISOD Reviewed the charged office space cost and area utilization, coordinated with community servieces and returned non utilized spaces.
10 sessions of Live Shooting Refresher Training were Conducted at Riyadh Public Security City for 162 Employees instead of conducting the training in Dhahran.
Agreement was signed to conduct Drugs Screening & Medical Examinations for CRISOD employees at King Saud Hospital instead of conducting the tests in two different hospitals.

Benefit
Cost avoidance/The gate was closed April 1st, resulting in redeploying seven employees at other unplanned posts at Qassim SSSP patrol vehicle.
Cost Saving/This was coordinated with Community Services to transfer the Technical Services space area to corporate services and returned unutilized spaces. Our planned office space was 2,022 m2, while currently charged space is 1,422 m2. Cost saving by end of the year is expected to be $360,000.
Cost Avoidance/This course was mandatory
and not planned to be taken at Dhahran during 2017-2018. It is now mandatory for operational staff and therefore, coordinated with Riyadh FSF and conducted at Riyadh for 162 employees resulted in cost avoidance of $153,440.
Cost Saving/ No more charges will be placed againest CRISOD during the remaining 2018 and onward. The expected cost saving of this agreement would be around $ 85,000 per year on Saudi Aramco Treasury and CRISOD.
