preparation for employee engagement survey:
In line with OE process 3.4 employee engagement & feedback, CRISOD management team conducted several site visits, meetings and calls to CRIOSD employees at their posts discussing
an upcoming employee engagement
survey. While interacting with employees, management team explained the purpose of the survey, and the importance of participation and providing honest feedback about the ten focus areas of the survey. The management team used this opportunity to increase the awareness of employees about the efforts done by the department and
ISO in general in addressing the safety of employees, providing continuous learning and development opportunities, giving employees insight about the process of a fair PMP and promotion cycle, as well as addressing efforts of the department in improving the communication and working environment within CRISOD.
site visits:
CRISOD’s Manager, Superintendents, Area Supervisors, and Shift Supervisors visited all CRISOD gates to discuss the upcoming engagement survey with all employees. They discussed the definition and explanation of the employee engagement, and the benefits of having a strong employee engaged environment.
conference calls:
• On September 3, 2018, and during the Department Monthly Safety Moment Call, attended by more than 200 security men at 77 gates, CRISOD Division Heads inspired the employees to participate in the upcoming engagement survey, and highlighted some of the major activities and accomplishments of the department during 2018.
• Additional conference calls were held by CRISOD management on October 1, and November 5, 2018, to discuss the same issue.
