“Hello! This is my bridge! Who are you?” he shouts. Daddy Goat IS NOT afraid. He says “I am Daddy Goat.” ‘’Where are you going?’’ asks the troll. ‘’I am hungry! I want to eat the green, green grass.’’ says Daddy Goat. “I am hungry too and I want to eat YOU! Come here!” yells the troll. ‘’OK, here I come!!!’’ says Daddy Goat. Daddy Goat puts his head down and begins to run. CRASH! The goat runs right into the troll! The troll flies into the air. “Help! I’m falling!” cries the troll. “A-H-H-H!” SPLASH! SPLASH! “Good-bye, Mr. Troll!” yell the three Billy Goats. “Now we can eat! This grass is long. This grass is green. This grass is for us!’’ Daddy Goat, Mommy Goat and Baby Goat aren’t hungry anymore. Now they can eat the green, green grass and walk home to the hill over the bridge every day. 46
