Type 3 Good Luck Knot with Small Outer Loops
On the front of the first layer, lengthen the small outer loops clockwise, and system-
atically press every second loop and insert into the next one.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Tie the first layer using the basic good luck knotting technique, then pull out
each small outer loop on the back. Step 2. Press small outer loop 1 on 2 and insert
into 3. Step 3. Press small outer loop 2 on 1 and 3 and insert into 4. Step 4. Press small
outer loop 3 on 2 and 4 and insert into 1. Step 5. Press small outer loop 4 on 3, pull
through 1 and insert into 2. Tighten cords in the direction of the arrows.
