                 GROUND SPIDER

                 Age: 50 million years

                 Period: Eocene

                 Location: Poland

The fossil spider pictured, a member of the
family Gnaphosidae, is 50 million years old.
There is no difference between it and speci-
mens alive today. This lack of difference can-
not be explained with Darwinian logic. If that
Darwinian thesis were valid, then over the last
50 million years, the arachnids in question
should have changed into very different life

forms. Yet no such transformation occurred.
Neither could it have, because no evolutionary
process among living things ever took place.
