There are so many reasons to be proud of our Club, and Thursday, April 25th in the Sports Hall at the City Clubhouse was certainly one of those nights. Thanks to Felicity Rodness and her incredible Power & Performance Ball Committee for launching a wonderful new legacy event in support of our sailing athletes and the Athlete Development Fund.
RCYC has a strong history of excellence in Olympic sailing competition, and of support. Many of our Members have represented Canada at the Olympics and were largely sustained by the RCYC through what
was called the Corinthian fund, now called the Athlete Development Fund, or ADF. While the ADF Committee raise what they can each year, this fund is not as rich as it once was.
The goal of the Power & Performance Ball Committee was to create a stellar event to raise funds for the
