FINAL REFLECTION
Writing II is a curriculum in which we learn how to write academically. In this
academic period, we have reviewed a large number of important topics, but the
most important have been: the use of transitions, how to make the contrast, to
respect the parallel structures. Now, I'm going to practice these techniques.
From my point of view, the use of transitions allows me to organize my ideas
in a sequence that makes my writings easy to understand for the reader. In the
same way, it will help me to express my ideas coherently. Finally, learning to
make contrast is a skill that allows me to express my ideas in different ways.
With these improvements, we have made a lot of progress in our skills and allow
us to be more able to write correctly.
In conclusion, this semester I learned basic strategies to write academically in
English. For example, I learned the use of transitions, how to make comparisons
and contrast, the parallel structure. It is necessary to follow the whole process
so that we can build good and clear paragraphs and essays. All these new skills
were focused on the improvement of writing skills, and they were applied not
only in this curriculum, but in several works that we must carry out.
