The up and down Western Ontario Senior Hockey League season for the Petrolia Squires was up last Friday night at Saugeen Shores.
Petrolia in regulation time when the visitors trailed 1-0 and 2-1 respectively.
Adam Arseneault had the shootout winner to give the Squires a 3-2 win over the Winterhawks.
The Squires, 3-4 on the season, entertain Tillsonburg on Friday night at Greenwood Recreation Centre at 8:30 pm and then travel to Tavistock to take on the Royals on Saturday.

Mooretown loses to Essex 73’s and Sharks
The offense for the Mooretown Flags has gone south with the PJHL club only scoring four times in its last three games, including identical 3-1 losses to Essex and Wheatley over the past few days.
The Flags also scored  rst on Saturday night in Mooretown against Essex, before the 73’s tied the game in the second period and then scored twice in the third, including one into an empty net for the win. Jake Wilkins made 28 saves in taking the loss.

The third time was a charm for LCCVI in defeating Northern, 2-1 to capture the LKSSAA junior girls soccer title last week in Sarnia.
