as you go. Make the hitches in a clockwise direction, passing the working
end through each successive turn from right to left.
2. As you finish a segment of rim, make the last few hitches loosely; pass
the working end of the line back through these hitches (above), then
tighten the hitches and trim off the working end. If all the half hitches
have been made alike, the points at which the line passes over itself will
fall automatically into a symmetrical spiral pattern, as above.
