THE POWERFUL PRAYER

Prayer is communication between God and man. The Bible says in Psalms 145:18,
19 – “He is near to those who call to him, who call to him with sincerity. He sup-

plies the need of those who honour him; he hears their cries and saves them’’.
Prayer is something which makes you to be confident and strong in the midst of

storms of our lives.

God will never leave us empty handed once we are in His presence. Nothing is
impossible with God. The shortest solution of every problem is to minimise the
distance between your knees and floor. Those who kneel down to God can stand
up to anything. Faithful and humble prayer is necessary for our lives. Never try

to hide anything from Him, for He even knows our innermost thoughts. We of-

ten forget to seek God’s presence in our quest for better living.

We often pray, “Lord, heal me of this illness, Give me this job, Help me to do well

in school.” While there is nothing wrong with such prayers, they are rather shal-
low. We also ought to be praying, “Lord, give me a spirit of wisdom and revelation
in knowing You. Grant the same for my mate and my children, and for all of the

people in our church.”

Prayer means to trust God. Through prayer the demons will flee out
like anything. Prayer is the only powerful weapon to defeat the devil and gain vic-
tory in the name of Jesus Christ. All worldly things are temporary, live like his dis-

ciple and love Him unconditionally, for cast your burden on Him for he cares for
you. Because in John 16:24 it says “Ask and you will receive and your joy will be

complete’’.
