• Say and pat a steady beat to “Apples, Peaches, Pears & Plums”
• MM asks a MF for his birth month to demonstrate clapping syllables
• Speak rhyme again, and everyone takes a turn to clap the syllables of their birth
month

Practice clapping the syllables of each month of the year in order
Allow S to share their birth months

• Clap the number of syllables to the month of May
• MM introduces the book, Mary Wore Her Red Dress
• Sing the song as MM goes through the book
