Pal & me
By Claire Pearson
and, of course with both ears listening out
for the tea trolley...just in case!!
Pal now comes to all my dialysis sessions
at Maidstone Satellite Unit, Kent. He
keeps me safe and soon warns me and the
staff if my sugar levels are changing. He
brings a smile to all the other patients and
he adores the attention.
Pal has given me the confidence to go out
alone again; we do a lot of charity talks
and fundraising. But most of all he has
changed my whole family’s lives. They are
all much happier to go to college and work
knowing Pal will keep me safe…and he’s a
fabulous family pet too.
Pal is my life saver and life changer and
most definitely the best medicine I’ve ever
had...thanks Medical Detection Dogs x
