EMPLOYMENT AND ADMINISTRATION POLICIES
A. EMPLOYMENT AT-WILL
Employment at Molzen Corbin is at-will. This means that an employee’s
employment can be terminated at any time by the employee or Molzen Corbin, with
or without advance notice and with or without cause. Nothing in any document or
statement now in existence or hereafter created shall limit the right to terminate the
employment at-will except pursuant to a written employment agreement signed by
the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company and the employee. No other
officer, agent or employee of the Company has the authority to revise, waive, or alter
this at-will employment policy.
B. VERIFICATION OF AUTHORIZED EMPLOYMENT IN THE UNITED STATES
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA) made it illegal to
knowingly hire or employ undocumented workers. To comply with the provisions of
this act, Molzen Corbin is required to examine specified documents of every
employee hired in order to determine whether the individual is legally authorized to
work in the United States.
You must complete Section 1 of the Form I-9, Employee Information and
Verification, no later than your first day of work and because Molzen Corbin
participates in the E-Verify Program, Molzen Corbin is required to submit Form I-9
data, including the employee's social security number (SSN), to the E-Verify system
for government verification that the SSN and work authorization are accurate.
E-Verify requires the I-9 information be entered in the E-Verify system no later than
the third day after employment. Upon completion of the Form I-9 verification, and
no later than the third day after employment begins, the person who completed the
verification process for Molzen Corbin must submit the E-Verify case.
Your employment with Molzen Corbin is therefore contingent upon your providing
the required documentation within three days of hire. After we have examined the
specified documents, you will be asked to complete and sign the U.S. Department of
Justice Immigration Naturalization Service I-9 Form (employment eligibility
verification).
