GRANDVIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (PRESCHOOL, K-5)

Grandview Elementary is a close-knit neighborhood school that offers families a comprehensive K-5 program. We provide students a safe place to be themselves, with the social and emotional supports to help them thrive. Our teachers and staff approach each student as an individual, leveraging his or her unique skills and learning styles to develop lifelong learners who work hard and have fun!
HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES
In 2016, our fth graders earned recognition as the reigning scientists in the county; they had the highest percentage of students scoring at grade level on the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) science test in the county. From virtual environments to the one right outside our doors, Grandview students explore their own interests through experiences. That includes experiences available through the Chromebook labs in nearly every classroom, where students access technologies that make learning fun and help them develop the computer literacy skills they’ll need throughout their educational careers.
Right outside our doors, students can get their hands dirty in the Grandview Garden, an outdoor classroom where core subjects are connected to the natural world. After school, fourth- and fth-grade students can participate in a percussion ensemble and choir, where they have the opportunity to discover instruments and develop a love of music.

Grandview is a school that welcomes parents and the community as our partners. Working together, we create a healthy, safe, and enthusiastic place for kids.
We want our students to experience the joy of learning, taking risks, working hard, and not being afraid to try. We are focused on building every student’s con dence.
