A Good Start cont.

       was again well saved.
We just couldn’t find that 3rd goal.
       Dodimead found space but couldn’t
       get his effort on target.
And then we probably had our best
chance when Macca got in to the box
with only the keeper to beat only for
him to pull off another save.
Griffiths then got to the line and put in
great cross which Tobin was on inches
       from connec ng with.
We were now star ng to get a bit
scrappy and struggling to play the free
flowing football of the first 65mins.
On 71mins the visitors were given a
glimmer of hope. A long throw was not
dealt with and the visitors finished
from close range to make it 2-1.
Dorrington was called in to ac on
minutes later but done well to deal
       with the away side effort.
We managed to see out the last few minutes for a well deserved win. Which
in all truth should have been more comfortable than the score line
       suggested.
We played sone great football against a good Wells City side. We did not
really let them se le into the game.
MOM chosen by Shem (Friends of Brislington FC) was Joe McLennan for his
hard working display and being a threat throughout the game.
Next we welcome Nailsea & Tickenham on Tuesday night KO 7.30pm who
impressed with a 3-0 win against much fancied Warminster Town
