Phones cut off by rampant Bris
Tuesday 9th August 2022
Brislington 6 Bristol Telephones 0 ATT 143
Danny Dodimead 2, Dean Griffiths ,
Ash Kington, Asa White, Josh Egan
On Tuesday we welcomed our near neighbours Bristol Telephones.
Perksy had a full squad to choose from but freshened things up a bit Jack Allward & Lewis
Dunn came in for Ewins & Barwood & Jordan Scadding came in for George Jones.
We started the game much as we did the previous 3 and pushed forward from the off.
Again we were playing some good football but couldn’t make our possession tell.
The 1st chance of note fell to Joe McLennan and a er moving the ball about Macca was
le unmarked at the back post but put his effort wide.
Minutes later we hit the post from a Scadds header it looked like the keeper done enough
to put him off.
A er 20mins we got our goal good work down the right by Macca helped him find Dean
Griffiths on the edge of the box who finished well in the corner. 1-0
We were well on top now & Dodimead forced a good save from the keeper.
2mins later it was 2 -0 Macca got fouled on the edge of the box. Ash Kington stepped up
to put the free kick into the back of the net. 2-0 30mins gone.
Just before half me Scadds & Dodimead both put good chances just wide.
HT 2-0
Again we started the half brightly & a er 51 mins. Dodimead finished from close range
from a Corner 3-0.
60mins 3 became 4 when Asa White found space from a corner and was able to head
home at the back post.
We were s ll searching for goals and a er 71mins Dodimead found some and finished well
to make it 5-0. No more than he deserved for his hard work throughout the game.
With a minute to go we added a 6th when Supersub Josh Egan put a free kick in the bo om
corner.
FT 6-0
