NAME: CRAIG EDWARDS
POSITION: GOALKEEPER
Craig (Nev) joins us this season as the new number 1. He’s a very experienced goalkeeper
who’s had spells with Ellwood and Broadwell a great shot-stopper and a huge presence. He will
be a massive asset for the team, both on and off the pitch
NAME: STU BROWN
POSITION: RIGHT BACK
Been at the club for many seasons now after joining from Broadwell FC. Mr Reliable, you know
what you get whenever he crosses the white line, wears his heart on his sleeve and a gives his
all on the pitch.
NAME: LIAM DAVIES
POSITION: CENTRE HALF
Solid centre half who formed a formidable partnership with Danny Hudson last season. A
massive part of the team, still yet to see a centre forward get the better of him! Another player
who as been at the club for many seasons - top centre half and clubman!
NAME: TOM REASON
POSITION: DEFENDER
Tom is another long servant to the club, who gives his all every time and has been outstanding
the last 18 months. He's grown into his own and become a natural full back. Had some really
top performances last season, which will hopefully continue this season!
NAME: GREG TYNAN
POSITION: DEFENDER/MIDFIELDER
Greg’s 7th season at the club - joined as a midfielder but has now switched to centre half. Greg
is a big player for us but has sadly had an injury hit season last year, hopefully will see him a
lot more this time round this year.
NAME: JAMES DAVIES
POSITION: DEFENDER/MIDFIELDER
James, brother of Liam, utility player who can play in many positions - started off as a right
winger and scored many vital goals, was then asked to play at left back where he has been
outstanding! Full of energy, drive and a will to win with a great attitude, never moans and gets
on with what he has to do on the pitch! A big part of the team.
NAME: DANNY HUDSON
POSITION: DEFENDER
Danny Hudson joined from local team Woolaston FC. A strong, quick, dominant defender who
made his mark last season and will no doubt be a massive player again this season.
NAME: WILL TURPIN
POSITION: DEFENDER
Been with the club for many years - he works/lives away but comes back when available and
does a fantastic job at left back. A very good footballer with a sweet left foot.
NAME: DEZY ROBERTS
POSITION: MIDFIELD
Experienced midfielder who has played at a good standard in the county league before with
Ellwood FC. Known for his wand of a left foot and leaves everything every week great lad on
and off the pitch. Was also outstanding in goal last season when filling in due to injury.
NAME: GEORGE SELWYN-JAMES
POSITION: MIDFIELDER
George has been at the club for 13 years and our longest serving player - he loves the club and
has played a massive part of where we are today. A strong-willed player who will fight and give
everything! Club Captain.
NAME: RYAN SMITH
POSITION: MIDFIELDER
Been with us for the last 2 seasons after joining from Coleford United. A strong midfield player
who loves a tackle and is very energetic. Suffered a few injuries last season but hoping for am
injury free season this time around so he can really make his mark in the team.
