Tributes
We would like to pay tributes to following who have sadly passed away during this year.
Can you please join us in paying our respect to them this evening with a minutes applause before
the game.
Francis Bishop - June 21
Francis sadly passed away in June. He was involved at the club for 40 years and was probably one of
the clubs greatest supporters and assets. He very rarely missed a game home or away not ma er
what the weather was or distance involved.
He would organise the 3 match pool on a weekly basis and if you didn’t have a pen, Francis would
have a good supply normally liberated from the local bookmakers.
He would spend many days at the club with brother Dave doing all those li le unseen jobs as well as
drinking a few cups of tea and munching their way through the biscuits. He will be greatly missed by
us all.
We dedicate today’s front cover of the programme to Francis.
Stephen Prangley - February 21
Stephen sadly passed away from COVID in
February. He would always be at games that our
midfielder Prangs was playing in no ma er of
distance involved travelling over from Wales. He
was an avid Chelsea fan and no doubt their
champions league victory this year would have
given him great pleasure.
Graham Day - February
Graham was a familiar face at Briz a few years ago
and could be regularly seen helping behind the bar
and with fundraising. He was a larger than life
character who always made people laugh wiith his
sense of humour .His partner Lesley provided he
Matchday food for many years
