IMPORTANT UPDATE
We are open! The Douglas County Cancer Services office is open to receive patients,
survivors and visitors Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. We do require all
visitors to wear a mask while in the DCCS office as our volunteers also will be wearing a mask.
We do sanitize all surfaces in the office after each exit. We deal with a vulnerable
population therefore to ensure everyone’s safety this requirement will be in place until
further notice. Thank you all for your cooperation and we look forward to serving the cancer
patients in our community.
We are working toward a Request For Service form for completing on-line for those
needing our assistance. We are focusing on easing the process to alleviate bringing in the
required documents to the office if patients are more comfortable with less face to face
contact or do not feel well enough to bring the form to our office. We post on our face book
page and our website as soon as it is available.
Our volunteers are very happy to be back in the office and assisting our community each
and every day.
OUR MISSION…
Douglas County Cancer Services (DCCS) is a volunteer driven, non-profit organization
dedicated to providing support and services to Douglas County residents who are undergoing
cancer treatment.
DCCS has been serving Douglas County since 1989 and is a sole entity governed only by its
Board of Directors. DCCS is funded solely through donations, grants and fundraisers. All
services are free to cancer patients and survivors. All funds raised stay in Douglas County to
provide financial aid, support and services associated with a diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
Volunteer opportunities are available. Contact 541-440-9409 for more information.
