The UNIZULU Science Centre, in co-operation with the Department
of Science and Technology (DST) and SAASTA, has been annually
participating in the National Science Week (NSW) initiative, which
provides a platform for the engagement of both the general public
and school students in the awareness of science.
For the week, UNIZULU Science Centre hosts a special programme that
consists of special speakers, workshops, science shows, games, career
guidance, engagement with live animals (performed by specialists) and
much more. The week is a highlight in the national calendar and has
become an anticipated event within the general community.
The UNIZULU Science Centre particularly has an opportunity for
students who share the passion of science and technology to join
their science club, where the main goal is to provide a fun opportunity,
broaden their knowledge of science and create a platform for them to
interact with other students who have a shared interest in science.
