ICT Boost for Amangwe Village
and SANCA Zululand
The Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone was once again proud to
donate a total of 10 computers to both Amangwe Village, a non-profit
organisation rendering developmental services, mainly to communities
within the Umfolozi Municipality boundaries, and SANCA Zululand, a non-
governmental organisation whose major objectives are the prevention
and treatment of alcohol and drug dependence.
The Amangwe Village staff could not retain their delight as the donation
marked the beginning of transformation for them, saving them from
losing critical organisational records. “This donation will increase the
capacity of the organisation to monitor service delivery and the impact
these services have in the community”, said Amangwe Village’s General
Manager, Erna Steynberg.
It is donations from sustainability partners like RBIDZ that empower
NPOs to continue with developing communities and adding value to
the people. Amangwe Village currently renders services to over 51
000 community members, and the donation could not have come to
a more deserving beneficiary.
Honoured by the donation, SANCA Zululand stated that the donation
has lifted a heavy burden off their shoulders, and having received such,
they can now continue their mission to fight against substance abuse.
“There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to the RBIDZ. The donation is a contribution towards the ongoing fight against

TARGETING FOR GREATER SUCCESSES IN LIFE
It was robes and hoods as our beloved colleague, Nonhlanhla Mbanjwa,
graduated for her Business Management Higher Certificate at the
renowned MANCOSA. She could not contain her excitement on the day,
as her sleepless nights and commitment finally paid off. Not wanting to
cool off, Nonhlanhla has already enrolled for her Bachelor of Administration
Degree at the same institution, and the closer she gets, the more she
sees a brighter future.
Congratulations Nonhlanhla, you have proven that perseverance is
ammunition!
