          Internship Programme


          SAKHILE MTHEMBU
          INTERN: MONITORING AND EVALUATION
          The RBIDZ was thrilled to welcome Sakhile Mthembu as a Monitoring
          & Evaluation Intern, under the Office of the CEO, resuming his duties
          on the 3rd of July 2017.
          His key training areas include, but are not limited to:
          Supporting quarterly reporting process;

          Providing technical support to the Strategic Planning and Annual
          Performance Planning process;
                 • Attending to Shareholder Board and Audit matters; and
                 • Providing administrative support to the Office of the CEO.

          Mr. Mthembu is a timeous young Humanities graduate, whose ideal
          focus is to improve the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone’s
          performance, using his expertise in the monitoring and evaluation
          scope. Sakhile holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies,
          with plans for advancement.

          “As my activities in the RBIDZ require time management, I believe I am
          an ideal candidate for carrying out the duties vested onto me. My ideal
          focus is to improve the company’s performance with my expertise
          in monitoring and evaluation. I plan to contribute towards timeous
          implementation of the company’s projects.”

                                                              GUGULETHU ZWANE
                                                              EXECUTIVE MANAGER: OFFICE OF THE CEO
                                                              It was a bitter sweet moment as the RBIDZ bid farewell to one of
                                                              its prominent employees, Gugulethu Zwane.  Gugu, as she was
                                                              affectionately known, assumed her position as Executive Manager:
                                                              Office of the CEO in the year 2015 and officially left the employ of
                                                              RBIDZ on the 27th of July 2017. Ms. Zwane was responsible for
                                                              strategy management, planning, performance and audit management.
                                                              She will undoubtedly be missed for her tenacity and drive towards
                                                              achieving organisational goals and her skilful attributes towards
                                                              managing the most significant office within the organisation.


                                                              The RBIDZ would like to wish Ms. Zwane well as she turns over a new
                                                              leaf in her career, “We appreciate the zestful contribution you made
                                                              into the organisation and may you continue growing in your profession.”
