Lap Coil
If you prefer nice-looking, even coils for picture taking or posing, the Lap Coil is your method.
Otherwise, it's hateful and induces countless kinks and twists into the rope. You can lead entire pitches
in the time it takes to unfurl a line that has been coiled with the Lap method. It does, however, have the
redeeming quality that you get to sit while you coil.
