Strengths
GivingPoint’s ability to enable students to volunteer and track their hours via the online tracking platform, while at the same time providing an opportunity to take ownership of the social entrepreneurship curriculum to develop their own creative initiatives is their reigning competitive advantage in the market.
In our research on the major aspects that attracted schools to collaborate with GivingPoint, we discovered that the initial interest was in the tracking platform. This was especially true with regard to those schools located in the N. Fulton area, where the entrepreneurship program has been very successful, That platform is one of the core assets of GP and its usefulness brings important opportunities to the organization. Although GivingPoint has outsourced the platform at the moment, we believe it is very important that GP continues to promote its value as part of their offerings, and clearly aligns and markets these two distinct areas of their offerings as a bundle.
