without interrupting other skiers or boarders on the mountain. So we had our location, but this was all about using the right tools for the job – that was our theme.
Monday morning, I had landed in Barcelona to meet John for the F1 testing, my bags packed with ski boots and gear for the rest of the week, little did I know that I would need my ski gear trackside as the Circuit de Cataluña was plunged in 3 degrees and snow. My destination was Lech so I ew out of Barcelona to Munich early Wednesday morning where I was to collect our transport for the shoot. We had three board riders, Jenny and myself, plus skis, snowboards, boots, helmets, bags and all our camera gear, so we needed the right car for the job - or should I say the right truck for the job.
I arrived at the of ces of AEC in Munich who had arranged transport for the shoot, in the street outside stood a Dodge Ram 1500 crew cab Longhorn in Black Crystal Pearl Coat, standing taller than me at just over 6ft it certainly looked the part. With Lisa’s gear in the back and her snowboard in the covered pick up bed we drove up to the top of Innsbruck to pick up Anna who had just nished her days work instructing at the ski school. Next stop Lech am Arlberg.
The last part of our journey was through the Alps, the steep mountain roads were bordered by metres of snow perfect for the 5.7ltr Hemi powered Ram as we powered up the Alpine roads. We arrived in
