In the beginning, the Word existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He existed (word) in the beginning with God. Through him all things were made, and
apart from him nothing was made that has been made. In him was and is life, and that
life brought light to humanity (John 1:1-4). Before anything else that God had created,
he begot Wisdom who is called the Word of God by John the Baptist as his Beloved
Son, David provides us a glimpse of before the foundations of the World; “The LORD

made me as he began his planning, before his ancient activity commenced. From
eternity I was appointed, from the beginning, from before there was land. When there
were no ocean depths, I brought them to birth at a time when there were no springs.
Before the mountains were shaped, before there were hills, I was bringing them to
birth. Then I was with him, his master craftsman— I was his delight daily, continuously
rejoicing in his presence. So listen to me, children! Blessed are those who obey me.
Listen to instruction and be wise. Don’t ignore it. Blessed is the person who listens to
me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my doorways says the Wisdom of God
(Proverbs 8:22-32). Wisdom of God is the Word of God which was made flesh to be the

   Messiah.

For through the Messiah, God was reconciling the world to himself by not counting
their sins against them (2 Corinthians 5:19).God on earth did not come to impute nor to
judge sinners, yet he came to reconcile the world to himself as a faultless sacrifice for

all. Seeing the sacrifices that were prepared by the Levites could not take away sins,
God then offered his only begotten Son to be converted as the ultimate Lamp for all

sinners. When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he said that “Behold
the Lamb of God, Who taketh away the sin of the world”.

Before anything else that clues God to offer his sacrifice, we need to apprehend the
nature of God. When God created men, he gave him a ‘free will’, and that free will is
called the ‘opportunity to sin’. Men on his own garment which is called the garment
of self-righteousness is worthless, men need the garment of Glory, which is God’s own
spirit covering the shame of men.
