N ominations have been released for the 2025 Grammy Awards to be held Sunday,
February 2, 2025.
In the Blues categories, Joe Bonamassa heads the field earning his fourth career Grammy
nomination with Blues Deluxe Vol. 2. Bonamassa earned the nomination for “Best Contemporary
Blues Album” and is seeking his first career Grammy win as a solo artist.
Shemekia Copeland earned three Grammy nominations for 2025, including for “Best
Contemporary Blues Album” and is looking to earn her first win. Copeland previously received
five Grammy nominations.
