we have done a couple of Dr Wu shows lately where we had to go back. I mean, we've got eight
albums with them and I play a few of those songs in my regular show, but I had to go back to the
early ones and relearn all that stuff because we hadn't done it at all. So, yeah, I'm always picking
around on something.
BiTS: Tell me just one more thing. What are you thinking of as far as the future is concerned for
you? Do you have a big picture for the future, or are you just living it day-to-day?
BW: Well, I really don’t know what else to do, but just keep trying to do what I've always done,
you know what I mean? And yes, sure, everybody would like to have magnanimous success, but
you’ve got to take what you're dealt.
BiTS: You're just managing yourself, are you?
BW: Yeah.
BiTS: So there's no third party involved at all?
BW: Well, not for Buddy Whittington. I mean, you know, like I say, with this thing with the label,
they might have some managerial things going on for us, but I don't know. Just for myself, every
time I've tried it, it had never worked out the way I had dreamed it would. So, like I say, I'm just
waiting for the phone to ring.
BiTS: . Okay, Buddy, I won't take any more of your time. Thank you very much indeed for talking
to me and I hope everything goes well. Like I say, I'm delighted that you've been able to get this
album out, even though it's a bit of a surprise to you.
BW: Yeah, it really was a surprise, and we had just about given up on it and it showed up, and
it's like, oh ho, we’d better get busy on this.
BiTS: I believe that too. You look after yourself.
BW: Well, it’s great hearing from you, Ian. Thanks again for calling.
BiTS: Have a great day.
BW: Okay, you too.
BiTS: Okay, bye then. Bye.
BW: Bye.
