Valley Macadamias brought an exciting close to 2014

After a successful year for the macadamia nut industry, the Valley Macadamias Group ended the season with a Gatsby-style celebration and Kiepersol came to life with enough glitz and glamour to put Hollywood to shame!
Rugby legend Nick Mallet was an honorary guest and entertained one and all with amusing stories from his time as the Springbok rugby coach. After Nick’s spectacular and witty tales garnered many a laugh and his charm won over the audience, it was time for the awards.

group, Alan Sutton, toasted the farmers
on a good season and thanked them for
their support in helping to ensure the unprecedented growth the business had seen
during 2014. He noted that market conditions for macadamia nuts would continue to be positive in 2015 with demand still on the increase and a favourable exchange rate counting in the farmers’ favour.
