Seminars and AGM at 2016 KC Summit
ffKarate Canada’s annual rendez-vous will take place Sept. 30 to Oct. 2 in Toronto.
As in past editions, KC will offer various educational and development opportunities (courses, conferences, workshops / seminars) as well as hold several important meetings at this yearly event.
Meetings include the Sept. 30 Annual General Meeting, Provincial / Territorial Sport Organization - KC Alignment Meetings, a Board Retreat...
Two-day Elite Kata and Kumite Training Sessions
/ Seminars (for provincial level athletes and up) with National Team Coaches
and international guest star Instructor(s) Davide Benetello (kumite- World Champion and 4-time European Champion) and Akio Tamashiro (kata- 2-time World Championships medalist and repeat Pan Am medalist).
Also planned is an educational workshop on concussion prevention and management; a karate-
specific NCCP Comp
Dev workshop; a National Referee Clinic (with the possibility to be evaluated); and some Para athlete training, as well as coach education sessions.
A 1st version of the program / Information Bulletin will be available as of mid-August, and online registration will open shortly after.
