Page 12 - Be Your Most Brilliant Self!
P. 12
If we are closed to our emotions, perceiving them either as
something bad, to be squashed and denied, or as an enemy within,
something to do battle with and to control, then as far as I can see
we are in trouble. To process our life experiences and integrate them
into our bank of inner knowledge and wisdom, our extraordinary
mind will need to identify and understand our emotions and
respond appropriately.
And by appropriately, I mean respond in a way that will enable us to
navigate experience in a way that regardless of the actual
circumstances, will always leave us feeling good about ourselves.
The contents of these pages are a reflection of my own learning and
the result of hard-earned lessons. A pathway of living, born of being
pushed, stretched, sometimes with ease, more often unwillingly and
with resistance, to new and more conscious levels of understanding.
I share with you an A-Z code of living that I have come to trust; a
series of messages to support and to guide; an ethos of living that
continually strengthens the core values that have become central to
my own personal integrity and form the foundation of hard won
emotional resilience.
When we discover within ourselves the solid ground of self-value,
self-worth and self-esteem, built not of external stuff, but of internal
values, built of the stuff that matters… we can become open and
available to fully embrace the extraordinary brilliance that life gifts
us with in every moment.
