Teaching Youth about Politics
Statistics show that the number of young adults who vote in America
is embarrassingly low but it is increasing. Many experts believe it is
because of apathy, or they don't understand the system or know the
candidates and issues. However, from a very young age, they can and
should be taught about our political system and regardless of a
parent’s political affiliation and viewpoint, it is only fair to teach
them in a manner that is not liberal biased so they can grow up
informed and capable of making their own political decisions. Basically, teaching our youth about politics can be
a path that parents choose for them, or a doorway to their own political feelings and beliefs.
Teaching our children the fairy-tale version of how our Government works or “How a Bill Becomes a Bill” isn’t fair
and does not prepare them for the real world of politics. The impact of filibusters, party divides, gridlock, the
power of lobbyists and special interest group influence, cronyism,, media bias, political favors, and campaign
contributions are all a part of how the Government “really” operates. TrumpVote.online believes that teaching our
youth about politics today empowers them to be Conservative leaders of tomorrow. By soliciting the help of
teachers, child experts, and political professionals, Phase II of TrumpVote will include an online “Youth in Politics”
educational program. This Program will allow the 15 - 17 age group to learn and understand the basics of politics
and also participate in issue voting. With approximately 12.6 million in the 15 to 17 age group, this demographic
is vital for expanding Conservatism in the future.
