Contacting Your Member of Congress - Fact or Fiction? Research Project

make decisions on their behalf and is frustrated with gridlock and partisan bickering. Citizens today are
demanding shared responsibility in the policy making process and they demand to be heard.

It appears that everyone is in agreement that digital communication technology today is in the hands of
nearly every Citizen, and internet and mobile technology is a way of life. Utilizing smarter, simpler
technology would let citizens have their voices heard, with less work and frustration on all sides. Secondly,

200 million registered voters cannot continue to be told to call their members of Congress.

t TrumpVote.online we believe the solution to the

increase in civic participation is not in the phone
system. More phone calls are time consuming

and creates more work for congressional staffers
that are already overloaded. In addition, the
caller can’t be validated, and their voice mails

can’t be automatically catalogued or analyzed.

A better solution would be to greatly reduce the
need for direct telephone contact while using
technology to easily let your members of

Congress know how you expect to be represented, regardless of the volume of participation.
