Application of Digital Tools in Student Mobility
The Erasmus + International Nursing Project also includes student mobility. Student mobility
was realized with partner institutions AMEOS Pflegeschule in Neustadt and AMEOS Institut
Nord- Standort Neustadt. 20 students of the Nursing School Mlinarska accompanied by three
teachers participated in the mobility. Mobility was carried out from 28.1.-17.2.2024. in the city
of Neustadt in Holstein, Germany. During mobility, students develop professional competencies
as well as numerous generic competencies: interpersonal skills, the ability to analyze and
synthesize, apply knowledge in practice, basic general knowledge of the profession, knowledge
of a foreign language, computer skills, independent work, research skills, learning ability,
management skills information, adaptation to new situations, the ability to work in an
international environment and the ability to create new ideas (creativity). Students' activities
that improved their information literacy, communication, cooperation, creativity and innovation
were realized with the use of web tools.
Learning and working in an innovative environment improved the digital skills of students. The
students created digital materials that can be used by other nursing school students and teachers
in the teaching process. They created a dictionary of foreign words and two manuals that were
related to the acquisition of additional professional competencies in the field of nursing care for
psychiatric patients.
The dictionary of foreign words was created in digital form with professional terminology
related to the acquisition of professional competences in the foreign language of the host
country. Handbook Rehabilitation and resocialization of the Psychiatric patient AMEOS Clinic
Nord is a presentation of nursing care for a psychiatric patient comparing several wards at a
psychiatric clinic. The importance of ergonomic principles in the work of nurses with patients
and the way to properly transfer patients are described in the manual Ergotherapy. The activity
with which we developed appreciation and respect for diversity and multiculturalism was
carried out through research on the specificity of the environment in which they stayed:
geographical, cultural and gastronomic characteristics, which they presented by making a
presentation on the specificity of the region and culture.
The digital materials were created using the digital tool Book Creator. The creation of digital
tools encouraged teamwork, curiosity and research among students, making the teaching
process more innovative, stimulating and interesting.
