dian therefore stresses layering. “You want to be
prepared for anything.”
With that goal in mind, she grounds her daytime
music outfit with a leather boyfriend vest, which
provides a bit of coverage and goes easily over any
lightweight top, such as a classic band tee. Ripped
jean shorts add a sexier element to a rock n’ roll-in-
spired ensemble should the temperature be sum-
mer-like, and distressed jeans work just as well for
cooler weather. A closed-toe shoe is a must for
navigating crowds and walking between shows, so
a cowboy or moto boot can be a great choice. Add
a pair of oversized hoop earrings to finish the look.
Nighttime SXSW concerts are a see-and-be-seen
