STATEMENT OF PERSONAL LEARNING GOALS.

Nowadays, University education is a request to everybody. If someone want to have a

comfortable life. He/She should study a program in the university. I will give some reasons

why I am studying at Carrera de Idiomas. Also, I want to promise some goals for this
semester.

I am studying at Carrera de Idiomas for some reasons. First, English is a

useful language to open doors around the world. English is important on enterprises and
education. If people have a business the knowledge of the language can help them to

improve and get many benefits. Second, I want to know about other cultures. Because of

that, I hope to travel countries as United States, Canada, United Kingdom, etc. Those are
countries which has English as their language. Third I have learned to love teaching. I

think that teaching is a good way to help people especially children. I would like to share

and improve my knowledge with others like students, coworkers, Professors, etc.

This semester in Writing II, I hope to improve my writing skills. I want to have self-
confidence to express my opinion in academic essays. Because of that, I will practice by

myself at home. Another important goal is to learn how to write in a correct way academic
essays. I want to know more about grammar. If I learn it well, I could express my ideas

and opinions with arguments

To achieve my goals, I will practice every day in class and at the same time at

home. I will present my assignments on time. Also, I am going to investigate more
information about the topics that I will learn. Personally, I think that self-education is a

good way to achieve goals. Because of it, I hope to practice it.

To sum up, education is important. For this reason, I will work hard to achieve my

goals during this semester. Also, I will to improve my level in my writing skills.
