Be a current full-time or part-time employee;
Maintain a performance rating of Meets Expectations or above;
Have no current employee conduct or performance-related probations or warnings;
Meet the job qualifications listed on the job posting;
Provide the employee’s manager with notice prior to applying for the position.
Internal Transfer Policy
This policy will control the process for employee-requested applications that concern roles representing lateral transfers and promotions. This policy does not apply to any other type of transfer, including management-initiated or career path promotion transfers.
To be eligible for transfer, an employee must have held his or her current position for a minimum of twelve (12) months prior to the transfer request. Exceptions may be made if mutually agreed upon by the current manager and prospective hiring manager. Eligible employees must also be in good standing with no active performance improvement plans in place and no disciplinary action within the past two years.
All transfer applications will be subject to the general application process in accordance with the employee selection and recruitment procedures of Erbe.
5-3. Educational Assistance Program
To provide continued development to our employees, Erbe may provide outside education opportunities to key employees with one of the following stated goals:
1. The development of additional skills to improve the employee’s ability to meet the duties and responsibilities of a given position or handle additional responsibility;
2. Improvement in specific skills where an area of improvement has been identified;
3. The development of skills identified as being necessary for the employee’s next logical career step.
Erbe requires advanced professional certification or licensure to hold certain positions. For those positions, Erbe reimburses the employee for reasonable expenses associated with first obtaining and then maintaining those credentials. Human Resources must approve all educational costs.
