Overview
About This Handbook
This handbook is supplied as a resource for employees. It contains information about several policies that will relate to employment at Erbe.
The purpose of this handbook is to provide important information regarding Erbe’s expectations, practices, programs, and benefits that employees need to understand. It is the employee’s responsibility to review and be familiar with the policies contained within this handbook.
Not all of Erbe’s policies are contained within the handbook. Employees who have a question, would like to know if Erbe has a certain policy, or would like more information about a policy not included here, should contact the Director of Human Resources.
Employment At-Will
Neither this handbook nor its contents constitute an employment contract or a guarantee of continued employment for any specific duration. Employees of Erbe USA, Inc. are employed at-will and the employee or Erbe has the right to terminate employment, with or without notice, and for any reason, with or without cause at any time.
Provisions
Many matters referenced in this handbook are either supported by or explained in greater detail in other Company documents. Company documents are always controlling over any statement made in the handbook or by any member of management.
The business we work in is a dynamic one, so there may be occasions where it is necessary to change or discontinue certain policies in the handbook. This handbook is meant to provide both Erbe and the employee flexibility in order to respond appropriately in all instances. For that reason, Erbe is always assessing ways to improve our policies, practices, and procedures. Erbe may, at any time, in its sole discretion, modify or vary from anything stated in this handbook, with or without notice.
Please note that because regulations and laws are constantly evolving, not all employee rights and benefits are covered by the policies of this Handbook. As such, we encourage employees to consult with Human Resources should there be any questions as to potential rights or benefits.
Handbook Acknowledgment
Please read this handbook carefully. Employees are required to sign the Handbook Acknowledgement Form as a condition of employment. The employee’s signature on this acknowledgment indicates that the employee has reviewed and understands the policies and procedures outlined in the handbook and any applicable state addendum, as well as its expectations for compliance.
Employees are encouraged to bring any questions or concerns regarding information contained in the employee handbook to the attention of their manager or Human Resources.
