iv. HOF Awards will be ordered by the NJCAA CA liaison. For sports ordering rings or other
awards that require longer lead times this must be taken into consideration with the timeline
outlined above.
b. HOF inductions will be announced publicly by the NJCAA National Office during the week of
championships for the specific sports and the National Office will pursue additional means of
promotion;
c. CA Presidents are responsible for notifying the recipients of the plan for awarding the honor and
working with the National Office liaison to provide expenses for recipients, when appropriate.
C. Finances
a. Budgets must be submitted by the CA President to the NJCAA National Office liaison by November
th
15 of each year;
b. The NJCAA National Office liaison will provide quarterly budget and membership reports to the CA
President (the end of October, January, April and July);
c. All expenses that require reimbursement must be emailed to accountspayable@njcaa.org and
accompanied by a completed digital copy of the NJCAA reimbursement form, scanned copies of all
receipts, and signatory approval of the CA President;
d. All CA are permitted to use the standard federal per diem rates;
e. Any specific sport association that provides any amount of a stipend to an individual must request
those to be paid in writing to the NJCAA national office liaison with the following information:
i. Name
ii. Address
iii. Social Security Number (one-time only)
iv. Amount
v. Reason for stipend;
f. Any stipends paid for more than $599 a year will require a 1099 to be issued;
g. Per federal laws, the financials of the CA will be audited by the NJCAA auditor;
h. The NJCAA national office collects 10% of new income (membership fees) annually for services
rendered.
D. Awards
a. CA may provide awards in addition to the standard NJCAA awards at national tournaments provided
the awards:
i. Are approved by the National Office liaison;
ii. Do not duplicate current NJCAA national awards;
iii. Are ordered through the NJCAA approved vendor;
b. NJCAA CA awards may be presented during the national award ceremony provided the awarding of
these honors does not delay the presentation of the NJCAA National Championship awards;
c. Non-NJCAA awards may not be presented during the national award ceremony, without prior
approval form the NJCAA liaison.
E. Special Events
a. All special events must be approved by the NJCAA National Office liaison;
b. CA, as operating under the NJCAA umbrella, must utilize NJCAA sponsors when appropriate;
c. At no time, shall the CA contract or negotiate with competing sponsors of the association;
d. CA may recruit and solicit non-competing sponsors for events provided the sponsors are submitted
to the NJCAA CA liaison for prior approval;
e. The use of any NJCAA logo must be licensed in order to provide outside sales of products;
f. Items worn or used directly by the CA must be ordered through licensed vendors. The NJCAA
National Office can assist as needed;
g. All special events must provide insurance coverage as specified by the NJCAA National Office liaison
for the special event.
