4. Lea Plarski Sportsmanship Award shall be presented at the NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship. Award to
be ordered by the NJCAA National Office and billed to the Coaches Association.
5. Twenty-two (22) NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer All-America Awards shall be presented to First and Second Team
All-Americans. Jackets shall not exceed $75 each. Award to be ordered and paid by the Coaches Association.
6. Each player at the NJCAA Division II Women’s Soccer Championship shall receive a participation award. The NJCAA
National Office is authorized to send awards to tournament host with an approximate total value of $3,000.
Women’s Soccer – Division III
NJCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship Awards
1. Awards shall be given to the first and second place teams
2. Each individual player on the first-place team shall receive an NJCAA gold medal. There shall be 25 medals.
3. Each individual player on the second-place team shall receive an NJCAA silver medal. There shall be 25 medals.
4. Most Valuable Player Award shall be presented.
5. Coach of the Tournament Award shall be presented.
6. Selection of a 12-player All-Tournament Team shall be made. Each player on the All-Tournament Team shall be
presented a medal.

1. Eight (8) team NJCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship participation plaques shall be presented. Awards to be
ordered by the NJCAA National Office and billed to the Coaches Association.
2. Most Valuable Offensive Player Award shall be presented at the NJCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship.

3. Most Valuable Defensive Player Award shall be presented at the NJCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championship.

Softball – Division I
NJCAA Division I Softball Championship Awards

3. Each individual player on the second-place team shall receive an NJCAA silver medal. There shall be 30 medals.
4. Most Valuable Player Award shall be presented.
5. Karen L. Sykes Outstanding Coach Award shall be presented.
6. Selection of a 13-player All-Tournament Team shall be made. The team shall consist of the following positions: 4 battery
players, 4 infielders, 3 outfielders, 1 DP, and 1 utility player. Each player on the All-Tournament Team shall be presented
a medal.
NJCAA Softball Coaches Association Awards
1. Outstanding Offensive Player Award shall be presented at the NJCAA Division I Softball Championship.
2. Outstanding Defensive Player Award shall be presented at the NJCAA Division I Softball Championship.
3. Outstanding Pitcher Award shall be presented at the NJCAA Division I Softball Championship.

Special NJCAA Awards
1. NJCAA Division I Softball Player of the Year Award. Recipient must be a First Team All-American. Award shall be
selected by the NJCAA Division I Softball Committee during the All-American selection process. Consideration shall be
given based on NJCAA statistics, team strength of schedule, and strength of Region and/or District.
