to be able to take on this role, and to those who I have had the privilege of working with over the past. A special thank you to Barb Manifold and Lori Micucci for your continued commitment to the association and to our members. I would be remiss if I did not mention the CEO who hired me – Vince Gillis – thank you for taking a chance on someone who did not have a bit of association experience or golf knowledge. Lastly, my husband Chris and kids Matthew and Sarah for their support over the years to put in the many hours that I spend at my desk or to be away from home for events and meetings.
The only constant in life is change – a quote by Greek philosopher Heraclitus - and this is a change that I am excited about and looking forward to the challenges that the position brings. I am grateful to continue to serve and represent the members and the CGSA.

I am thrilled to be writing my first CEO
Viewpoint for GreenMaster magazine! It brings me great pride to be leading the organization that I have dedicated the last 25 years to.
During my time with the CGSA, I have been involved with every aspect of the operations and activities of the association. I have worked on member services, communications, event planning, professional development, board governance, government advocacy and public relations. My days are mostly spent behind a computer screen and now frequently in a meeting or two, but my favourite task has been on site event management and the opportunity to meet so many of our dedicated members.
I have been privileged to work with some extremely passionate members who have taken the step to serve on the Board of Directors. I have spent many hours at the board table listening and learning. The hours of deliberations that occur at the board table help to drive the association forward while carefully considering input from committees, members, and staff.
Thank you to Jeff Calderwood, who has served the association well over the past six years and allowed me to develop into this role. Thank you to the current Board of Directors for your trust in me
